ok couple things... first- your movies category... what happened at the end there buddy? talk about addicted to a genre! the man scale really dropped off there.

Second- you can't call fav's on a trilogy that's not really a trilogy. That would be like me saying my favorite trilogy is the second 3 Harry potters.

my Top 5 Movies
1. Gladiator
2. Boondock Saints
3. Fight Club
4. Hoosiers
5. Sabrina

top 5 trilogies (for real trilogies)
1. LOTR
2. Back to the Future
3. El Mariachi
4. Spiderman
5. Pirates of the Caribbean

I don't want to do all these so I'll just pick fast food for last.
1. Skyline
2. WhiteCastle
3. Taco Bell
4. Wendy's
5. Fazoli's (free bread sticks!!)

So were the Star Wars originals already "classics" when you became a fan? I'm thinking I was just a tad bit older than you (just a wee bit mind you) when those movies were released. I saw Star Wars IV nine (yep, 9) times in the theater (first run theater - not the special re-play/enhanced/special version). Aren't you jealous? Pretty sure I was only like 3 though (HA!)

Mitch,

Thanks for the critical feedback, but I can't help it if the producers want to try to make more money by trying to 'add' to the trilogies. They are trilogies in my mind and that's what I will call them. Oh, and Amazon and www.imdb.com calls them trilogies as well. And let's face it, they are the authority here! :-)

The fact remains is that the original Star Wars Trilogy is the greatest hands down.

PS. I noticed how In and Out didn't make either of our Fast Food lists :-)

Sheri,

That is impressive that you saw episode IV 9 times! Haha, you are right in saying that by the time I watched them they were classics.

I saw Episode I 7 times in the theater and even got a job at Harkins just so I could see it before anyone else. However, my plan failed due to the intensive training conflicting with my track meets so I had to quit unfortunately.

I saw it 7 times not because it was good, but just because I was a loyal SW fan.

Better late than never I say to a "Top 5" party! You've got a lot of good categories goin' on here, but where's the favorite sports teams category? (Rah, rah Bills...23-14 vs. The Chargers!! That completely topped my day!)

To Sheri! LoL...Yep, I was a coughweeonecough right there with ya! ; )

And Mitch, Skyline as in Skyline Chilli? And "Sabrina" ~ I'm impressed! So which version...the Humprey Bogart/Audrey Hepburn or Harrison Ford/Julia Ormond one or both?

Okay, off to blog on my "Top 5's" for better or worse...

Romi-

I most certainly am referring to the skyline as in skyline chili! Oh how I miss that sweet chili nectar of the Coney Gods!

In reference to Sabrina.. yes I know, its surprising, but I its my favorite romance movie that I have seen. I am referring to the Ford/Ormond version but that's only because I have not had the pleasure of viewing the Original. I would like to though at some point! Originals always have a way of being better!
